WIP for Reasons to Believe

This Santa has been so fun to work on! I love the curly handle on the gourd which said "candy cane" to me the first time I laid my eyes on it. So his hat and the buttons will be peppermint striped when all done. I hope to finish him tonight, but the garden is also calling for my attention. It's all good! This Santa will be destined for Reasons to Believe when he is finished. I do have more of these gourds though thanks to my dear friend Ginny Diezel. Stop by her blog to see what she has been up to! She's been a great artist friend and I love the wisdom she shares.

Woo Hoo! What a cute Santa! I see you are really busy for Scott! I have some partially finished pieces, but have been inundated with licensing stuff, so I am slow moving with Santas right now. Thanks for the shout out! xoxo, G.

A mouse! See I need you to collaborate as I never think of those things. I will have to give that a try!
Suzanne has such a way of looking at the art world that is fun and full of whimsy. You should see the detailed felted figures she creates. It's worth going by her blog to check out.
