 I received an exciting invitation to debut at Seattle's first Hallowbaloo show this September! Pinch me, I think I'm dreaming! Funny how retiring from working as an art teacher has given me the opportunity to say YES, to participate in a new show. I will be rubbing shoulders with some of the best Halloween folk artists, which is thrilling! More information to come as I gather my wits about me and get down to business.

My gourds speak to me.... No really! Sometimes they do! Every time I looked at her gourd self I heard, "Help! I'm trapped inside this gourd and I WANT OUT!" So by magic and a lot of listening to that little voice inside the gourd, she was able to break out of her shell and show the world her most kissable face. Another road trip piece of art. At least a part of it. It's hard to do tiny details when you are going up a snake like road. So I did the tiny stuff when we got home. Do you ever take advantage of long trips in the car to get some art done? I'm still in the process of deciding how this will be presented, whether matted and framed or mounted on something, but I will be creating tags, and or cards with prints.
