Gallery Feature In Oregon....

It's been a whirlwind week of visits and art fun. I stopped in Idaho on my way to Oregon and helped a dear friend get her blog going. Calamity is the name of her business, and well worth a stop by to see what she has. I will post a feature on her later and share some of the fun work she does.
I stopped by the gallery I show in to see if Missy would take some of my new art, and yes! She was so excited to see my newest abstract art that she built a front window around those and other spring/summer art I do. How fun! She had good news for me as well. Two of my older art pieces she's showing have sold, so that's a nice bonus. Wish I could stick around and see what you've all been doing, but that will come this week. Have a great weekend all.

Celebrate 365 and Our AHA Artists

Another wonderful publication by Connie Porcher arrived in the mail! Yes, I'm a tad behind the 8 ball here, but the holiday rush took over and stampeded any hopes of sharing this sooner.
The line up of AHA artists featured in this issue include, besides me (blush):
Amelia Schaefer - www.sweetbfolkart.blogspot.com
Dawn Tubbs - www.boyhowdie.com
Johanna Parker - www.johannaparkerdesign.blogspot.com
Kathy Hunka - www.primsicalstudios.blogspot.com
Nancy Malay - www.nancymalay.com
Robin Seeber - www.outsidetheboxprimitives.com
Susan Verndoerhook - www.seasonalwhimsies.blogspot.com

There was an article featuring Susan and the Artistry of Poland piece she designed of which we are so proud. Yes, we do take part ownership as she is one of our group leaders and it's such a thrill to see one of our members succeed! If you haven't gotten a subscription to Celebrate 365 think about it as a New Year's resolution!

We have several great announcements on the AHA blog, including a mention about some of the new things happening with my art. Trot on over and see all the goings on.

Did I tell you?

Well the wonderful Suzanne has been so kind as to ask if I would mind being featured on our AHA blog and of course I said yes! Who would pass up the opportunity to "get out there" and American Holiday Artists is the premier holiday art group. Stop by our blog to see all the fabulous artists we have on board.

On the home front, here's my biggest WIP.....

Between running to Utah to see my hubby and grandson, oh and his mommy and daddy of course, the car breaking down on the way back, deadlines and issues with suppliers as well as internet fits, I'm a little behind. But there's one more coat of red, and then the trim needs to be done. The yard? Well it's hard to tell but right in the front of the house is a big long hole that had to be created for drainage when the addition was put on. So next year I will be adding a wrap around deck on the front and paving some pathways. This is is garden boxes, finishing painting, and if there's any money filling in the paths around the boxes. I sure wish there were 48 hours in a day sometimes! Now I'm off to get some work done!
