Tiny Timothy Owl

I've been remiss in sharing my latest ebay listing as I just pulled a mountain of weeds trying to get our little Oregon home back up to snuff. It's hard being away and not being able to keep things at bay. Luckily for us our neighbors are understanding.
Last week the Stansbury Art and Literary Society had a challenge for our monthly meeting entitled "Nocturnal". What could be more natural than a night scene with a tiny owl created using various vintage items for the design texture. What fun I had with my buttons and such! Tiny Timothy is on ebay now so head on over to see more about him!

Manny, Man in the Moon Shines for You

The Man In The Moon

Author Unknown
The Man in the Moon as he sails the sky
Is a very remarkable skipper,
But he made a mistake when he tried to take
A drink of milk from the Dipper.
He dipped right out of the Milky Way,
And slowly and carefully filled it,
The Big Bear growled, and the Little Bear howled
And frightened him so that he spilled it!

Just a fun little ditty I wanted to share. Here's where you can find Manny - ebay

Craft supplies on ebay.....

In my continuing effort to find focus in my art, and make room to work in my tiny studio room I'm getting rid of pieces I know I will never use. Above is a nice batch of wood textile bobbins that would be great for art doll bases or Halloween shakers, among other creations.
These tin canisters are so cool and I had imagined painting a nice apples or cherries border on them and spiffing them up for a kitchen with glass knobs for the tops, but alas, I just can't seem to find the time and so I'm letting these go as well.
Here are a set of children's blocks, some are very old and very cool, but again, I know that I'm never going to get to them. I planned on using them as bases for Christmas creations such as Santas or snowmen. What would you use them for? They are all starting at very low prices so check them out if you are looking for a good deal. Here's the link to see more about them... Simply Sheryl's

Halloween art making it's debut on ebay

Mack the Black Halloween Cat is making his debut on ebay this week. No time to work the etsy magic, I've decided to show him off in a different venue. Wish I could think of something clever to say, but I'm all out of cleverness for today. Sleep and magic fairy dust to get me moved would be nice... I wonder if the winning bidder could just pay me in that way?
I've also put this mini painting up for your consideration. If they don't go to a new home, they will become a part of my Halloween collection so it's all good, but if you would like to add one of these to your collection visit my ebay thanks!

Though Angelica has fire red hair, her temperament is sweet as can be. She's a combination of sugar and spice and everything nice. Created from wood, with soft wool hair, homespun fabrics, vintage buttons, and scrapbook papers, she's the perfect guardian angel to hang up by your bed, or in your favorite sitting room. Angelica is 20" long from the tip of her halo to the tips of her toes. She's simply sweet!
